These almond-filled tarts are an easy and delicious treat!


40 Bite-sized Tarts

1⁄4 cup
brown sugar
1⁄4 cup
all purpose flour
4 tablespoon
unsalted butter, room temperature (additional butter needed for basting)
egg (large)
1⁄2 teaspoon
vanilla extract
1 package
bite-sized tart cups
pear (cut into thin slices)
1⁄4 cup
powdered sugar (for dusting)


To make this Bite-sized Almond Tarts recipe...

  • Combine almond paste and sugar in a food processor.
  • Add flour and butter, and blend until the mixture has a consistent texture.
  • Incorporate the eggs and vanilla extract.
  • Spoon the filling into each bite-sized tart cup and top with a small pear slice. Place tarts on a rimmed baking sheet and baste the pears with melted butter.
  • Bake at 325°F for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  • After you remove the tarts, lightly sprinkle powdered sugar on each pear. The sugar will dissolve if the tarts are warm, revealing the pear slice.
