Ingredients

4 cup
unbleached flour (sifted)
4 tablespoon
granulated sugar
2 tablespoon
baking powder
1 teaspoon
salt
6 tablespoon
Solo Almond Paste (1/2 package)
4 tablespoon
salted butter (1/2 stick, melted)
2 teaspoon
vanilla extract
3 tablespoon
brown sugar
2  
egg (large, beaten)
2 3⁄4 cup
milk

Instructions

To make this almond paste pancakes recipe...

  • Add flour, granulated sugar, baking powder and salt into a medium mixing bowl. Whisk to thoroughly blend dry ingredients.
  • Crumble Solo Almond Paste into a separate medium mixing bowl, then add melted butter. Mix until smooth. Add two beaten eggs and whisk well. Add vanilla extract, milk and brown sugar, then whisk well.
  • Slowly add dry ingredient mixture to wet ingredient mixture and mix until a smooth consistency is reached. Do not over mix.
  • Let stand for approximately 10-15 minutes. Batter should be thick but smooth.
  • Cook pancakes on a buttered pan/skillet over medium to medium-low heat.
