Raspberry Angel Food Cake
To make this easy raspberry angel food cake recipe, start off by making a pack of gelatin according to the package's instructions. Do not let the gelatin cool all the way though. You should only chill it until it has the consistency of maple syrup. Once the gelatin reaches the correct consistency, mix in the can of Solo raspberry cake and pastry filling and let chill for a few minutes (but not too long!). Now, take your angel food cake (which you can make from a cake mix or buy from any grocery store), and cut it into thirds horizontally. Spread your gelatin/filling mixture between each layer and around the outside of the cake if you have any extra. Let the raspberry angel food cake chill out for a bit and then spread whipped cream all around it (we like Cool Whip!). Sprinkle on your coconut and throw the raspberry angel food cake back in the refrigerator until you're ready to eat it.
