Have you ever had a late night craving for doughnuts, but you don’t feel like going through the hassle (and cleanup) of making them? Skip the trip to the store and bake these incredibly delicious, Jelly-Filled Muffin Tin Doughnuts, instead.
You’ll start by mixing your dry ingredients and your wet ingredients in separate bowls. Make sure to use an electric mixer so this process is even easier.
Once you have mixed the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, you will begin scooping the mixture into the greased muffin tins. You can choose large, medium, or small muffin tin cup sizes, but just know that the yield and cook times will be different according to each size. *Baking Tip: Mini muffin cups make for a great snack for the kids the next day!
After the muffin tin doughnuts have baked and cooled on a baking rack, you can start applying melted butter to the tops of each for the powdered sugar to stick. You can add cinnamon instead, or skip this step if you’d prefer to not have a topping.
Grab a pastry bag with filling tip, or use a makeshift pastry bag with a plastic zipped top bag, and start filling each doughnut with the raspberry filling. Do not fill too heavily, as the filling will leak with the first bite.
These fun and easy doughnuts will become a fast favorite breakfast item, and can also be a great dessert for your family. Enjoy!
