After the start to a rather busy summer, have you completely forgotten to prep for your Fourth of July festivities? Have no fear, these quick and easy Marshmallow Creme Tarts are here to save the day!
You’ll start with pre-made Mini Fillo Shells (tart cups). These can be as complex as you’d prefer, but the no-bake options will make this recipe much easier. Make sure you have roughly 40 of them to create this patriotic design.
Mix your cream cheese, Solo Marshmallow Creme and heavy whipping cream in a medium mixing bowl. Once this is good and fluffy, it’s time to fill in your shells
Use a pastry bag for even filling, but you can also use a small spoon to scoop in the mixture. Just be careful not to let the filling go outside of the shells.
Now is the time for you to get creative. Add 2-3 raspberries and blueberries to the tops of the shells once the filling is placed. Leave around ⅓ of the tarts without a topping so that the “white” section of your red, white and blue dessert remains.
The easiest formation is an American flag, but feel free to do a star, pinwheel or any other patriotic design you would prefer.
