What makes you know that the holidays are coming? Is it the change of seasons, the decorations in the stores, or even the commercials on television? Many of us know that Christmas is drawing near when we see the iconic commercial of polar bears drinking Coca-Cola and sliding in the snow. This year, we took that classic, crisp drink and put it in these White Chocolate Cola Cookies.
To begin, preheat your oven to 350 degrees. The recipe will start off like you are making normal sugar cookies, mixing together flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder.
The Solo Marshmallow Creme will add a thicker base to the cookies, perfect for when you later add in the cola. You will mix this with butter and brown sugar, and eventually add in an egg for a creamier consistency.
Now it’s time to add the cola. Make sure to slowly pour this into the mixture and mix until evenly blended. Your cookie batter will be a bit stickier than a regular sugar cookie, but will be worth it in the end!
After folding in the white chocolate chips and allowing the dough to cool in the refrigerator, cookies can be laid out in dough balls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Once the cookies have baked for 14-16 minutes, allow them to cool before serving. The finished cookies will have a flavorful, bubbly taste, and will quickly become a holiday classic for your family.
