almond reindeer antler cookie recipe

A new holiday “twist” on our fan-favorite Almond Horns recipe, these reindeer antler cookies are sure to put a smile on your face and a delightful feeling in your tummy.

The cookies are perfect for the busy Christmas season. They are easy to make and quick as a flying reindeer. From the time you pull out the ingredients to putting the cookies in your mouth, it should only take around 30 minutes!

Almond Reindeer Antler Cookie Ingredients:

  • 1 Package of Solo Almond Paste
  • 3 Egg Whites
  • ½ Cup Superfine Sugar
  • ½ Teaspoon Almond Extract
  • ¼ Cup All Purpose Flour
  • ½ Cup Sliced Almonds
  • 5oz White Chocolate (melted)

Start by taking out all your ingredients and preheating your oven to 350F. Break up your almond paste into tiny pieces and place it in your bowl or food processor. Add in the egg whites, sugar, and almond extract; and beat it with mixers in your bowl or in your food processor until it is smooth. Add in the flour and mix it up until it’s smooth again. You’re almost done!

Next, spoon the mixture into a pastry bag with a fitted tip, and then pipe the mixture onto your cookie sheet in the shape of reindeer antlers. Need some reference? Here’s a reindeer reminder:

Before putting the antler cookies into the oven for 13-15 minutes, you can sprinkle the cookies with sliced almonds. Once your cookies are golden on the edges, take them out and let them cool on a rack for a couple minutes. Now you’re ready to dip the antler cookies in the melted white chocolate to make them look snowy!
