To bake this quick and easy coffee cake recipe, preheat oven to 400° F. Grease 9-inch square baking pan and set aside.
Stir buttermilk baking mix and granulated sugar in medium-size bowl until blended. Beat egg and milk until blended. Add to dry ingredients and stir until just moistened. Spread batter in prepared pan. Spread filling over batter and swirl through batter with flat-bladed knife for marble effect. Combine confectioners sugar, cinnamon, and allspice in small bowl. Sprinkle over top of cake and dot with butter.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack 10 minutes. Cut coffee cake into nine 3-inch squares and serve warm.
