A campfire twist on a classic treat that kids will just love. Best of all, no baking or campfire required!
Lightly grease, or use a pan release, in a 13" X 9" pan. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt butter or margarine, add marshmallow crème. Stir until melted and smooth. Approx. 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Pour melted mixture over crisped rice, and stir until well coated. Add chips, and blend until uniform. Pour and spread into greased pan. Cover with plastic wrap, and press down lightly for an even layer. Let cool before cutting into 2 inch squares. For best results, refrigerate before serving. Makes 24 squares.
