Ingredients

1⁄4 cup
butter (melted)
1⁄2 cup
cookie butter
1  
egg
1⁄2 cup
dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon
vanilla
1⁄2 cup
sugar
3⁄4 cup
white whole wheat flour
1⁄4 teaspoon
salt
1 teaspoon
baking soda

Instructions

To make this cookie butter marshmallow bars recipe...

  • Preheat your oven to 350F and line an 8” square cake pan with aluminum foil. Lightly coat the foil with cooking spray and set aside.
  • In a medium-sized glass bowl, melt butter in the microwave for around 45 seconds and let cool for five minutes after melting. In the same bowl add the eggs, both sugars, cookie butter, and vanilla, and whisk it all together completely. Add the flour, baking soda, and salt until combined (don’t over-mix though or else the bars will be tough). Fold in marshmallow creme a tablespoon at a time to make streaks in the batter.
  • Spread the batter in the cake pan you prepared earlier and lightly smooth it with a spatula.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the center of the bars has just set and a toothpick comes out cleanly. Don’t over-bake because these cookie butter marshmallow bars will become more firm as they cool.
  • After letting the cookie butter marshmallow bars cool completely, slice and enjoy!
