Ingredients

1 package
Solo Almond Paste (chopped)
12 ounce
semi-sweet chocolate
1⁄3 cup
heavy whipping cream
1⁄3 cup
peanut butter frosting

Instructions

To make this Chocolate Almond Peanut Butter Cups recipe...

  • Fill the bottom of a double boiler with water and warm at medium-low heat
  • Add almond paste, chocolate and whipping cream to the top of the double boiler, stirring frequently (heat for about 30 minutes, or until the ingredients are combined)
  • Using mini muffin pans, fill the bottom of each section with chocolate to form the bottom of the peanut butter cups
  • Refrigerate about 20 minutes or until the chocolate has hardened slightly
  • Add about a teaspoon of peanut butter frosting to each section
  • Pour the remaining chocolate over each one to complete the cup
  • Refrigerate Chocolate Almond Peanut Butter Cups overnight until completely cooled
