- Gather the desired chocolate and/or fruity candy for this dessert. Separate the chocolate and fruity candies, unwrap each “mini” sized candy, then coarsely chop and set aside.
- In a medium saucepan, melt butter and Solo Marshmallow Creme on low-medium heat. Once melted, slowly add in cereal until mixed evenly.
- Grease a 13x9 pan, then pour the rice cereal with marshmallow coating evenly into the pan. Once evenly spread, add half of the chocolate candy to one side of the pan, then add the fruity candy to the other side.*
- Allow the candy rice cereal treats to set for at least 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
*This recipe can use all chocolate candy, all fruity candy, or an unseparated mix of the two. For best results and better variety, create one side with chocolate candy and one side with the fruity candy.
